Many think its because of salary, but a recent survey made by naukri.com indicates its just recognition and appreciation for hard work.

if we see there are some basic issues like Inequitable salary, disagreement with the manager or boss
or some time personal family problem. These are basic things where a candidate will look for a change
there is less chance in employee favritism, this happens where the credit is taken by other person

Good Morning....
This question is very interesting and tough too.According to my point of view,
1)If a person/employee is in lower position(junior/medium level) then he/she mainly look for monetary benefits and brand name of the employer (MNC). These would be the main reasons to quit a job.
2)If a employee is in higher/senior level then he mainly focus on career growth and development. So that would be the reason to quit a job and look for advanced opportunity.
Thank You,

Now a days employees are more worried on ' Treatment Issue' and 'Differed Job Profiles' rather than salary issues.
Basicaly leaders should be more attentive wrt his team members but unfortunately most of the leaders are ignoring it. It also gives bad market branding to the organisation.
off cource disparity, internal politics, favourism are the other causes for the heavy attrition.

2) middle / sr. level - brand, career growth opportunity
3) for all levels, very important are organisational culture, working atmosphere within the group.
