Hi Seniors,
Two three days before I had a discussion with management, that time i discussed about - one of our employees is going to get married in next month hence from our company side we have to give something / gift to him. So we need a standard policy for that it will be good in future also, The management accepted the things and asked me to prepare a proposal for that and then will see and take a good decision. Can anybody help me to prepare a proposal regarding this.
Thanks & Regards

Jagan,
You can fix some monetory gift e.g. - 1 month salary or 1 basic salary or some % of salary, further you can bifurcate with Designation wise.
Even you can prepare some Gift Voucher - if u r working in retail or service industry or can tie up with retail industry, e.g Big Bazaar provide such voucher.

Hi...
You can go with the following ideas.
Birth day
- Birthday cards ( internally desinged and pritned standard version ) buy it in bulk for lesser cost. this can be given to employees on their bday signed by all team members, manager and the HR
- Card can be given with team gathering and a bday song
- Bday baby day... every month on 30th /31st have all the bday babies for the month assembled and have a common cake cutting and fun activity
Marraige :
- You can give gift vouchers
- Gift cards from bank.
- If you are going to given only for employees getting married after joining your organization you can give with higher worth ( 2.5k to 5 k) based on your company cash flow and budget.
- But it advisable to greet all employees on their wedding day with a boquet sent to their house which will make them feel special
let me know if you have any other queries. hope the above ideas are useful
