Pl clarify my query.
My present employer is into " Project Management Consultancy", where the manpower is 40 as on date. Pf applicablity in an org'n, when the manpower is more than 20. Pl let me know, whether the company has to add PF scheme or not as all employees salary is more than 10K (Gross). Minimum salary 7K (Gross). And there are onlt 5 employees whose 'Basic salary' 6500/-. Rest of employees salary is above 6500/- Basic.
Now pl tell me, with the above situation, does the company going to face any problem in future ( any penalty).
Same case with ESI also. The same 5 employees are there upto 15K Gross salary.

Dear Jyothi, Definately your company under the PF coverage; it does’nt matter that the wages payment exceeds the ceiling of Rs 6500.00. There may be a return of NIL PF to the department.

Definitely your company cover under PF Act, It doesn’t matter gross salary exceed 15000 Rs., PF is Calculate on Basic only, if employees basic salary exceed 6500 than you shall be submit NIL return to PF office.

Dear friends,
in case the employee concerned is willing to continue pf membership even after 6.5k, the contribution has to be on 6.5k only and no pf contribution on the rest amt of wages is required to be deposited.

hi all,
what the answer you are all sharing is completely direct the guy who asking the question with doubt. once your employment strength is cross 20+ then your your company will be liable to cover the pf for employees.
in case some of employees who are getting more than 6500 basic means you can consider the employee as exempted employee after they given form 11.
in case your employee who are getting below 6500/- basic you have to cover the employee from the day of 20 employee crossed.
in case your covered employee crossed basic as more than 6500, then you cannot consider that employee as exempted one, you have to pay continously upto 6500/-

first thing: Can you got PF Registration No....?
if it is....you should deduct to PF to your Employees @12%
then...you should pay PF, to PF dept...@ 13.61% from eployer side.. OK..
The total Pf amount to pay to PF dept @ 25.61%
Compulsory you want to do this .....
