dear all
currently i'm working in a leading indian mnc since Feb,2010. In April2010, the company announced increment for all the employees. But since I was on a probation period, I was not eligible for increment that time. In this company the probation period is for 6 months.
But thing is that the increment for the year 2011 is already due from april, 2011. The HR Dept. told us that we must get the increment.
My question is that
Can we get the arrears also starting from April,2011?
or can the company legally overlook the increment/arrears increment completely?
(IS THERE ANY GUIDELINES FOR A LIMITED & LISTED COMPANY?)
or how & how much the company pay /adjust with the monthly salary?
or what will be the case for the year 2012 increment as it is Feb,2012 now? and as one year's increment is already due?
