Dear Forum members,
Every year on Republic Day the young brave hearts of the nation are awarded the National Bravery Award by the Prime Minister for the brave acts carried out by them. This year 25 children are on the list to receive the award. India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru had introduced these awards in 1957 after he was taken by surprise by a brave act of a 14-year-old scout, Harish Chandra. Since then, heroic acts of the young children have been recognized with these respective awards. 848 children have received the honor till date. PFA herewith this year's list.
