Standing Committee of Parliament on Finance in its report dated 13.12.2011 (copy attached) has recommended that considering various objections raised in Aadhar Yojana for citizens of India including security & legal issues, the scheme should be given a fresh look and a new Bill should be introduced for the same. Till such time, the scheme should be kept on hold.
