ATM PIN NUMBER REVERSAL (GOOD TO KNOW)
If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.
For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine.
The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you. This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states that it is seldom used because people don't know it exists.
Please pass this along to everyone possible.

Wow,
I was thinking abt my PIN which is 7447. (Plz do not think `im so stupid to give my PIN). If you reverse the PIN, its the same.
P.S. Please verify the source before you post it on the public forum.

Good one for panic-free. Even if this facility works, by the time police arrives, the bank /ATM customer will be robbed off peacefully.

Hello ,
This is not a solution but a spoof. I'm afraid the idea that "typing in a pin number in reverse alerts the police" is an urban myth. It was first suggested in the USA and while the technology is available it hasn't been used. In the UK / India it simply doesn't exist.
Verify this by visiting snopes.com: Reverse PIN Panic Code

Informations like these, if at all true would have been publicized by the service provider itself - while they were selling the cards to prospective cardholders. They wouldnt be waiting for an HR blog to share the information with public.
Cheers anyway!!!

We all get these kind of messages at different times...i.e. Viruses, etc. I ALWAY go to Snopes.com to find out if it is a "legand" or true. Snopes will let you know.:)
