I really need a help with this one.
I have an ethical issue that must be resolved. Here's how it goes:
John was sent by his company to go to this place.
His job is to oversee the business.
Before his first day at work, he was taught by the person-in-charge about several issues that he must know.
It includes tax evasion which is very crucial for their company because the government in that state charges a very high tax.
John is now confused whether to follow such unethical act because he firmly believes that it is wrong.
But, if he doesn't follow, then the company will surely lose their profits and many workers will be out of job.
Also, tax evasion is very prolific in that state so they really do not have any problem doing it.
What can you suggest?

Dear Sender,
This is really difficult question asked to us.
Its depend upto Mr. John whether he belive in ethics & loyal to country. If Mr. John is strong ethical person, he should deny the offer. Or else, there is always guilt feel in back of his mind.
Tax evasion is something illegal and donot healthier for country economy / development. In our country India, the tax structures is very high & crucial. But we must pay the taxes to Govt. to run over the economy.
If co's wanted to earn more profit & donot pay taxes to govt. it is clearcut violation of law of land and ready to face consequences.
Mr. John must make understand / convince to management to skip away from these activites or else didnot accept the offer.

hi
i agree to bhusan's thought. the value system is inbuilt with every individual and that makes his path- defined- in his own way. i think jo's value system is in the line of principle of equality and distributive justice. It is clearly evident that he's firm on his ground "not to break his value system" for the sake of indivudial (corporate) benefit.
Value system is so important in a way that it must serve your society too. its simple. Our president Dr.APJ has given an equation of three elements for a nation's sustainable development and one of the element is "THE VALUE SYSTEM".
A value system with distributive justice is required.
let jo go on his own ethical value system.
