Hi,
I do not think its ethically correct and many a time you have to fake names and chances of getting into trouble is also high.
I think we should leave this to the consultants to do.

Hey people!!
You know something that the second reason why I fell in love with recruitment other than talking to people and networking is HEAD HUNTING!! It just gives me a kick whenever I need it.. few mandates are like this .. client or you source the name, sometimes just the first name or the last name.. call up the organisation 1st and check if the person is really there or else in which office. 2nd use voice modulation to get till the persons desk phone!! if he is not there then get aggressive by.. ".. do you know who I am?? do you have any idea what will happen if i dont get to speak to him? "... you get the number... speak to him... you get back to client in less than 15 mins!!! THis gives me a high!! I was with contingency recruitment firm earlier where the mandates are given to n number of consultants and you have to prove yourself about how good you are!!
Nope its not a ethical issue!! if you think yes you cant survive!! And if you think that you will be caught.. use your imaginations friends.. smart people can even get away with murder!!
And my experience with the head hunted candidates are they stick well with the company that they are hired coz by that time the industry would know them and if they quit then its too easy to take his references!!! so do u wanna spoil your career for that!! Atleast I wont!!!

Hi,
I fell Head Hunting is one of the best prospective for sourcing the Best Profiles. If you look on the higher level of the management the sourcing of the profiles will be done mostly on Head Hunting.
In this you can come across many things Like: About the company ( your hunting for...) , Relationships, Presenting your company, proving your skills in selling the candidates. :)
