Not sure of the relationship between EFQM and Confederation of Indian Industry(CII). EFQM like other global Process Models is highly dependent on people processes and process dependency on people.
You've got to follow some corporate HR models along with other process standards to gain better understanding. Case studies from companies like Infosys, GE, could give you a practical insight into the present trends.
You have to be able to interpret the variation and commonality that the Various Quality Models and standards bring about to benefit business processes of an organization. I'm sure you are aware that the models are prepared by technical team after taking inputs from industry representatives from across the world.
Suggest not to restrict yourself to one standard which means only one point of view. As a HR professional better get into the depth of best HR practices around the world and the industry learnings and benefits form them.
