Hi Seniors,
Please help me to tackle the situation if my Manager is not approving my full leaves for my own marriage.
I discussed with my manager 15 days back regarding my marriage and he said to finish all the pending works and can go for the leaves, but now when I have completed my works and asking him to approve the leave of 15 days, he is not granting the full leaves instead asking to squeeze the leaves.
Please help me to come out of this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Hema,
Marriage happens once in a life time.
So kindly consult the same with HR department regarding the provision for marriage leave and deposit one invitation card for reference. Discuss with your manager politely and he/she will agree at last they are also human being.

i THINK THIS IS SOLELY DEPENDS DESCRITION OF YOUR MANAGEMENT. HE MAY OR MAY NOT SANCTION LEAVE DUE TO SO CALLED EXGIENCY OF WORK. IT IS UP TO YOU HOW YOU CONVINCE HIM AND GET HIS REDINESS FOR REQUIRED LEAVES. HOWEVER AS AN INDIVIDUAL YOU MAY AT FIRST MUSTACCEPT WHATEVER IS GRANTED / SANCTION AND FOR REMAINING DAYS YOU MAY AVAIL later

Hello All
I would be getting married in 4 months time(November 2013). I currently work in Pune and my hometown is Rajasthan, I joined a new company just last month and had taken few days off for my exams which I had conveyed before joining. Now, the problem is that I would require few days off again for pre-wedding preparation for which I need to travel to my hometown. Since I had already taken leaves, I am feeling hesitant to ask for them again. How do I convince my manager? Kindly suggest.
