I fully agree with your views and let me explain further:
The words 'INSECURED FREEDOM' has to be viewed in different contexts.
From the point of 'outward' like business/self employment,these words are correct.
From the point of 'inward' eg.within us, your version of 'SECURED FREEDOM' is very correct.
