Dear Anu
Please tell us how large is your organisation and what's your role. I also wonder why you need access to CiteHR at work? The problem for a firm if they give access to CiteHR others also would want access to other sites.
Have a nice day.

Hello Anu,

Further to what (Cite Contribution) mentioned--about the 'how & why' of CiteHR, Simhan has a valid point--companies may hesitate giving access for the reason he mentioned.

One way you can handle this is to DIFFERENTIATE CLEARLY between CiteHR & other sites--especially social networking sites. When you send your letter, mention & highlight BOLDLY that THIS IS NOT A SOCIAL NETWORKING site.

And apart from including the Links of the info (Cite Contribution) provided, just give a thought of any recent HR-related problem/issue that your company recently faced. Then check out in CiteHR thru the 'Research' option if this or a similar issue was addressed & discussed earlier in the Forum. If yes, then include the Link to the thread in your letter to the Director, with your appropriate comments on how your company could have benefited.

I am sure it will work, since human nature being what it is, the sub-conscious tendency is to focus on what effects 'US' & 'NOW'.

I hope you get what I mean.

All the Best.

Rgds,

TS
