Needed Help, As I got the first time 3 months work visa stamped to my passport to work in Saudi, but due to personal problems, I am not able to go to Saudi, so is it necessary to cancel the visa? What will be the charges for cancellation? What will happen if I do not cancel? As the Saudi consulate does not allow submission of the document individually, but it should be done through agents only. Will be very helpful for your reply.
Thanks.

Hi There!
If u got the short term visit visa, then there will be no issue. But if that's an employment visa, u should go otherwise ur name will be block listed. In other words, you are banned. It is very difficult to lift a ban in Saudi. On the other hand, if it is UAE, you'll be banned for short period. Byee.

Hi Mahesh MPC2002,
As per me once your visa is stamped in your passport you have to enter that particular country within 6 months from the date of visa... If you will not enter within 6 months then the visa will automatically get canceled... No further procedure will be required from your part to cancel the visa.
Your employer will do the necessary formalities for cancellation to obtain labour clearance once again.
I think you don't need to worry...
Regards.

Hello maheshmpc2002,
Both kuccoo & Shreyas are right.
Pl check the Visa Stamping where the Validity Date would be mentioned.
If your visa is a Work Permit/Employment visa, then you need to cancel it.
But usually Work permits are for longer durations--so in all probability, your's must be a short-term/Visitor's/Tourist visa. In which case, you need not worry.

Dears,
I have the same situation. I was offered job in KSA but my short term 03months work visa was wrongly stamped as technician instead of engineer. I asked the employer to correct it. They issued letter to embassy for cancellation of previous visa. Now i dont want to go to KSA but my passports are in Embassy right now but after cancellation it will be with KSA company's agent in my country.
Please advise if I refuse the offer and dont let to renew visa, will they return my passport.

Hello Mr.Engrind,
As i said earlier, you can not cancel these type(s) of visas. Maximum chance is you are going to be banned by the employer. But you are dealing through agent, he may ask the compensation for making the visa. And it is entirely depend on him. Otherwise try to give some certificate that u r not fit for the country physically.

Dear Mr. Niceiam,
Situation is little bit different. I haven't moved to KSA after stamping the visa. As soon the visa was stamped it was stamped with wrong occupation.
I need advise will the agent return my passports if I refuse as now I am planning to immigrate to Australia.

Hello,
Does any one know UAE law pertaining to the below?
What is the maximum time limit within which an employer has to cancel his employee's visa after receiving resignation letter from him and also releasing him? I just need to know the "maximum time limit which which the employer has to cancel employee's visa?" Please advise.
