Dear Sujhai,
To add on what Raj has told,
Job Satisfaction is from the point of view of the employee , whereas, Employee Satisfaction is from point of view of the company / employer.
Both topics are more or less interrelated and complimentary to each other.
In case of Job Satisfaction , the objectives should be set to know intrinsic details of Job Performed and factors affecting the same (internal and external)
In Employee Satisfaction (for which job satisfaction is an important element) , objective should be set with a wholistic approach, taking into the account, entire factors influencing the employee to stay/work in the company.
Hope you have some clarity now

Hello Sujhai86,
I completely agree with the views expressed by Shri Sriram Warrier. The topics are interrelated and complimentary to each other.
2. When we are talking about employee's satisfaction, it means that employee is working in some organisation and doing some work assisgned to him. If the employee is satisfied with the work assisgned to him, it is job satisfaction which lead to employee's satisfaction.
Regards.

Dear Ajeet,
Satisfaction is directly proportinate to requirement. We cannot predict the saturation point for satisfaction. It is a dynamic in nature which tends to change with time, work load, industry growth & family as well.
For Eg:
A young MBA associated with an organization to prove himself in industry facet without bothering about salary package (0.96lacs p.a) as he is eager to implement his ideas/ concepts. Organization also given him challenging assignments as per his enthusiastic nature.
After 3 years, his present salary is 75% to that of initial package. However, his position become very crucial in the department.
He got married and income what he is getting is not sufficient. Does he a satisfied employee?

Dear Sujhai,
I am more or less in agreement with Mr. Sriram about his opinion "Job Satisfaction is from the point of view of the employee , whereas, Employee Satisfaction is from point of view of the company / employer."
However, for your information employee satisfaction has a broader perspective keeping in view of the employees in totality from organization point of view, as a policy matter of the organization, while the job satisfaction has a limited scope depending upon individual to individual employees. While one employee may be quite satisfied on a particular job, the other, having more qualification and experience, may be quite dissatisfied on the same job. We can rather say, job satisfaction part of the employees is more of the complimentary nature to the employee satisfaction part of the organization, as compared to the later with reference to the former.
So, both the topics can be written in quite a different way, the first on giving importance more to the needs, passions, desires, expectations, etc. of the individual employees, while the second giving importance to the Organizational needs, organizational plans, organizational objectives, missions, productivity, employee development policies, promotional policies, motivations, expected leadership qualities, etc.

I agree, mostly, with PS Dhingra. The two topics are separate. To give you an idea of the difference, the following are the Categories (drivers) of our Employee Engagement (aka Satisfaction) Survey:
1. My Work
2. Resources
3. Organization
4. Safety
5. Leadership
6. Co-Workers
7. Direct Supervision
8. Pay & Benefits
9. Training
You may or may not utilize these Categories in a Job Satisfaction topic, but the intent and the scope of the study would be entirely different than that used in an Employee Engagement topic. Do some research!

Dear Sujhai,
Adding to the above
Job satisfaction describes how content an individual is with his or her jobsatisfaction include the management style and culture, employee involvement, empowerment and autonomous work position . Job satisfaction is a very important attribute which is frequently measured by organizations.
Employee satisfaction is a measure of how happy workers are with their job and working environment. Keeping morale high among workers can be of tremendous benefit to any company, as happy workers will be more likely to produce more.

My dear
In general employee satisfaction is the reaction of the worker, employee how does
he or she react to the work environment tools such as Nature of work, salary and
other benefits, timings and prospects.
Pls note " the great sage Jagatguru Aadhi Sankara said
Chithasya sudhaya vrithi, na thu vasthy uplabdhaye
Work is not alone for material earnings, it is also for keep ourself engaged and
mental peace. So we have to view things or work in this perspective also.
Good luck
