Suppose any service industry in haryana having the building on rent and 52 employees & use of electric power then it is compulsory to take the factory licence.
Please elobrate said commitment.

Dear Karamvir,
First go through the definition of the 'manufacturing process' under section 2(k) of The Factories Act, 1948 & then see whether your service industry is covered under this definition. If the answer is affirmative then see whether 10 or more workers as defined under section 2(l) are working & if the answer is yes then we are to obtain factory licence.
Opinion submitted as requested.
