Hi friends, My concern people have not updated any of PF or ESI documents in the previous 4 years now I am being asked to work it out alone as it is the job of HR.
Now I am under years back mistaken & miserable files & challans. I want to know whether HR is responsible for this or Accounts section.

Hi, Without doubt the total responsibilty goes to Accounts Department as well as Audit Department. Because it is also the responsibilty of concerned departments to do so. wish u all the best.

I agree with Rachna, as dept. with HR handles the PF & ESI documentation. Where there’s no HR dept, the responsibility passes over to Finance/ Accounts section. Sashmita

Hi Rachna,
It is the work of both HR & Finance. To prepare the documents regarding ESI & PF, Finance dept can provide details pertaining to payment, as they keep a track of it in their ledgers.
As far as HR is concerned we will be having our salary abstract.
So, I think both need to work it together.
