To join a company or a college one must be perfect in Spoken English and they must have to do practice for English Speaking and that is only possible by doing all the sections of english like grammar, vocabulary and reading.
English Language is also important for further studies for MBA Entrance Exams English is necessary and they take test to go for mba admission.

I do agree,but the individual need practice of grammatical usages not the grammatical terminologies. Once they understand the usages they won't fumble for words.

You need application practice of grammar and that too in conversations.
The best way is guided practice. Remember, it is a skill, you will learn it by doing. Reading books and material wouldn't take one too far.
Talk, get feedback and talk some more. That's the only way.
