Hello Friends,
I would like to bring up some activities for the employees of my company. What I mean is activities like, organizing a traditional day, a tie day, a western wear day, etc. these however, are something which we already have had. I am trying hard but I can't be more creative.
Please suggest.
Thanks

Dear Kavita,
In case it is feasible why not keep aside a particular day in the week / fortnight / month for B'days of that period.
You can also try and include them in game sessions like volleyball if you have the space. Or maybe start a group like yoga sessions
With warm regards

Thanks Swapna for the suggestion. however, we already have a badminton court arranged for the employees and we do celebrate the b'day of every employee. But this is still not happening.
Moreover, we don't have much of space for most of the outdoor activities.
Hence am really meandering about what to do?

Hi,
All suggestions are very good and helpful in making a good healthy environment. There are some other options as well.
Like you can announce the employee of the month on the bases of his punctuality, disciplined and productive performance. And then give that employee a package of dinner for his family.
That thing can motivates the employee as he feel that he is being appraised for his performance. Competition between employees started in a positive manner and overall productivity of the organization increases.
Kind Regards,

Dear Kavitha,
Also you can play 1 minute games by making teams and engaging few teams at one particular time.
Then if the company is willing to take some real show with good budget
Then u can organize Employee Family Day and arrange for games, dance, talent exhibition for Employee Childern and some task finishing games for Adults.
You need a strong team for that.
Similarly a Sports day where you can hire a ground for a day at a near by place on Sat / Sun and organize Cricket both men & Women, Carom, Chess, Volley ball.
remember the things work out fine only when you conduct these when the empoyees are asking for them.

Dear Deepak,
Thanks a ton!
The activity that you've send is indeed a good one but am afraid my comp won't approve of it especiallywhen it comes to shelling out money.
As usual they can't spare 10mis. for an activity or training.
However, I appreciate ur suggestion. I can see ur effort.
I'll be more than happyto be of any help. Let me know.
Best Wishes.

Hey kavitha,
When i made it i really spent only Rs.4000/-.
u can always choose to lower the budget by reducing the items.
any way now i really got to know your problem.
y dont u conduct few one minute games and some quiz questions or some task games. Give away Perk Chocolates or something like that.
This really works well, u can do it in anytime in the office.
good luck..
