I hope he is a monthly rated regular worker and Sunday is his weekly off day. If he reports to work on Monday, he will be eligible for Sunday wages. On the other hand, if he remains absent on Monday also, he will lose his off day wages.

Dear Kashyap,
Madhu T K is right, if he report on Monday at work place then he will be eligible for Sunday wages also or else if he remains absent on Monday then he will be treated as absent on Sunday also and he will lose his off day wage also.

Whatever be the nature of leave, if an employee resumes duty on the date following his off day/ holiday, he should be given that off day/ holiday. As already stated, in case he remains on leave on the day following the day of off/ holiday only the matter of CL, PL or LOP will have to be checked. Under normal policies, off day/ holiday intervening two CL days will not be counted as leave but that intervening two PL or LOP will be counted as PL or LOP, as the case may be.

Dear Senior

ABC orgnisation had applied to approval for EPF exemption section 17(1)(a) they complied EPS to direct EPFO office but unfortunately they did not get approval from EPFO orgnisation meanwhile some staff resigned and joined XYZ orgnisation ABC orgnisation Paid a cheque by hand to XYZ Orgnsation amount of EPF contribution for leaving staff alongwith EPS contribution details and Annuxure K similarly XYZ orgnisation had submitted that cheque in XYZ EPF A/c alongwith EPS details individual EPFO orgnisation says cheque has been credited in XYZ EPF A/c on same date still ABC orgnisation has dissolved but EPF Contribution has not been transfered in XYZ orgnisation A/c Now 90% Staff has claimed XYZ orgnisation but they did not get ABC orgnisation EPF contribution. EPFO Department says ABC orgnisation is not exempted orgnisation they are asking about Form 3A & 6A whereas ABC orgnisation submitted Form No. 7 EPS & 8 EPS timely. What is procedure to get the EPF Contribution of ABC orgnisation.
