hi,
For IT recruitment, the main thing to notice is the skill sets required. Also pay extra attention to the type of database & languages worked on with the primary skill. The golden rule is that never ever try to approach a candidate who is working for a bigger company and try to convince him to appear for an interview with a smaller organisation. Also check out if the candidate is trying to change his job within 6 months of joining then either he is incompetant or he cannot get along with people which means he cannot work in a team. The best candidates you'll get are the ones who are outsourced by smaller companies and work in larger companies. But you should have a fair knowledge of the skills for which you are trying to recruit. Please look up www.whatis.com to find out what is the skill for which you want to recruit.
Hope this will help you. Please let me know
