Hi,
am mr.x who completed my degree(still 12 arrears there) but managed to get placed at a leading mnc at my studies itself. after completing course, i worked at that mnc for 1 year during joining i gave copy of original marksheets only, did not produce provisional certi....they did not ask anything and i was going good for 1 year. after that they asked me copy of provisional where i feared and resigned from it. now i have 1 year real exp certificate, but not original certificate of degree... now coming to point. i want to join next mnc with fake edited copy of provisional, marksheets(eventhough i studied there only but am going to change fails as pass), and provide correct exp certificate.
now i want to know abt the consequences. during bg check will i be caught. i dont mind, but i want to know if could be prisoned or produced before court.
or is there some chances where i might escape and be at that company.
main fear is : i dont mind getting termination letter, i mind only getting some arrest, or some issues...plz hrs help me out

Is there clause present in your appointment letter or Emplpyee handbook.... Bcos it is so then your future will totally depend of management decision..
By the way it is a criminal offense and you will be booked under ACT 420.

Forging documents is a criminal offense . If the company wants they may take action against you or in most cases fire you.

Hi 2 All,
I would like to know that if any person is submitting all his original academic and professional degrees with all relieving letters of his previous company with salary slip to a new company and if a new company finds, the professional degree like MBA or B.Tech or MCA are faked or some of the mark sheets are incorrect from the university records then ?
What should be the company action on this ?
Thanks

I have been selected in a mnc. I have given my all original 10th and 12th certificates. I had 61% in graduation. But in graduation my 4th semestar marksheet I scored 6.15 but due to some problem in my university website I could not retrive my marks and could not remember how much I exactly scored. So i had edited it and wrote 6.0 and gave the documents to them. Now my original marksheets has come and its written there as 6.15. I fear it woud create any problem. But my graduation percentage is 61 and I wrote 61 % in my cv also.
Please help me. please tell what should I do. Would my marksheet create any problem?

Dear Mr.X
First and foremost, an employee joining a company needs to be honest and instead of living in a fear, somewhere or the other day you are bound to be caught and this will be the most humiliating experience, if you fake on experience and qualification. You also need to remember what you bluffed, and can be trapped in your own words. Once, you are caught in such a act and you join a new company and if there is background check done, it is going to act negative against you and will impact your future too.
It is rather better to tell your new employer of the facts and get it straight at least from there. Nothing wrong in telling facts and getting into new employment, at least there will be peace of mind on that side and concentrate on your work.
