IGNOU offers few good courses in HR. Right from an MBA degree (21 courses @ INR 700 each), is the most affordable. I hv seen the printed materials also, they are terse & top quality. Other courses on offer are PGDHRM (5 courses @ INR 700 each). Having a world wide recognition, I think its better to guide your acquaintances towards IGNOU, rather than other numerous institutes.
