BIG BOSS PREMJI AZMI ALONG WITH EMPLOYEE COLLEAGUES HIT BY DV ACT
I had drawn attention of citehr members unsuccessfully in 3 different threads to DV ACT which is likey to affect industrial output adversely. My projection appearing to be true. Premji Azmi now ordred by Kanpur chief metropolitan magistrate alongwith his employee colleagues Gaurav Nigam(enigineer),Pratik Kumar(head of Wipros's human resource division) to appear before him on 29th November(Hndusthan Times 24/11/2006 front page news).
Whose turn is next? Can HRM remain silent?

Really its HOT topic to debate.
We need to discuss on such topic.

brother!
Our discussion does not envisage review of company policy. our discussion here is in remification DV Act on productivity. Premji case is not the first and last .hundreds and thousands of such cases will come up. Tornado not only will affect the families but it will affect work places also. How HRM is going to face the situation?

Saab,
HRM will be involed in this issue very soon. At workplace, it happens so gals may make complain under DV Act and HRM will have to play important role to solve such type of issue. Sometime it will go to polish hand and consequently to court. We must study this ACT and we will have to have draft a company policy to not to happen such cases in company premises. Company may loose some important employee due to such cases. it will affect the company productivity as well.
If any different idea in ur mind, pls write here for debate.

Brother!
So long this Act will be there you can not prepare any preventive policy. It is not the question of some but it is question of every man. Before every man the question is:
AUR TERA KYA HOGA RE KALIYA?
Please read the definition of domestic violence which I have posted in other two threads.

Saab,
Its not new funda to implement and enforce the laws. Main issue is that it will spoil the relationship..........Some female are facing such problem for that this law will be helpful but it will disturb the peace of mind of male. Just it will like TADA act. Any way we have to watch the development. But I m sure that company will have to reveiw the policy............................................ .........
Pls write ur thinking........

If Raka and Shamba are hit will it be two late for Kaliya?
Brother!
What will be the percentage of false cases according to you? Are you sure that review of company policy will help curb the catastrophe?
