Hey Yogesh here. I recently joined Wipro. They Checked BGV And found a Criminal record.
A criminal case has been filed against me in 2020, however, the case has been not closed. Case is pending but the opposition is not in India since long time.

Dear Yogesh,
I wish you had provided us with a few more facts about the case. Why the criminal case has been filed against you, who has filed it and how many hearings have taken place? For how many hearings the petitioner was not present? From whom Wipro is asking to bring NOC?
While joining the company, did Wipro ask you about the criminal case? If yes, then did you disclose or withhold the information?
Even if the criminal case has been filed against you, it does not make you guilty. Therefore, your freedom to augment your career cannot be stopped by the employer. Therefore, check with Wipro if they are ok with the submission of the affidavit providing the facts of the case. In the affidavit, give a commitment that if the court holds you guilty, then you will declare it voluntarily and will give up the employment on your own.
Thanks,
