Hi All,
I just found this forum and was VERY impressed with the quality of the content and posts.
I have a question for you all. I live in the US and there is a heightened focus on Corporate Wellness here - so much so that there is a bill in front of the Senate which offers upto a USD 200 tax credit/per employee/per year for employers who invest in qualified corporate wellness programs.
This is consistent with the focus on Demand Side Health Economics vs the traditional Supply Side.
Would like to understand from this very qualified group of what your experience is in implementing Health and Wellness Programs in your companies.
Also if you could comment on what you believe is the interest of Corporate-India for such Programs.

Hi,
What has happned in US is acctually good and In India also Govt. should take such initiatives.
One we look at legal aspect of Wellness Programs in India, Its just a basic wellness facilties are mandatory and nothing major as such.
But Now a days corporate themselves are taking good initiative towards EWP. Though the ROI is not much tangible and still organizations are tying to calculate nad provide Wellness Program
Thsee are my views

The workshop is led my highly qualified International and national experts and aims to promote and improve existing programs.

A well- planned employee wellness programs are really necessary in today’s times where employee engagement and employee wellness is sometimes more important that big cheques . Having employee loyalty towards the organization and nurturing organization culture is really important in growing the business .
Employee wellness program doesn’t need to be as expensive as having an in house gym . Cost effective programs like giving subsidized gym memberships etc or incorparating healthier snack options like oatmeal cookies.
