Dear frns,
In our company from time number of Expatiaties (foreign national) ocassionaly visit for training in the factory for new product development.
kindly let me know whether they are :-
covered by factory act and Industrial dispute act or it is applicable on it.
Whether they are entiled for relief in terms of indian labour legislation in case of any casulity during performance in India.

they are not your employee as i understand with your conversation.they come here for giving training at the time of new product development.you might have hired them as consultant.
question of benefit comes when u will clear their employement status.if they are your employee and you have shown them on muster roll than ,yes they entitle all benefits as per factory act/industrial dispute act.

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your reply.
You are right such expatiates used to come from our parent company for training development/research and work in our factory in India.We have dispatch agreement with parent company. We are not countinmg them as our employee in our return (factory act).
