Couple of contractor employees placed in stores department for loading/unloading & material feeding work resorted to slow down. We tried to counsel them but to no avail. After a week we decided to take strict action and two contractor workers who were playing leading role were stopped at the gate and now things are returning to normalcy. Problem is these contractor workers are very old having 2-8 years of service. The contractor is also not playing positive role. How can we get rid of the workers & the contractor as every now & then we are facing problems due to which our production suffer and we are forced to do OT. On top of it some of the contractor workers refuse to do OT. Pl advise.

Dear
How you can stop the gate of contractor's workers. They are the workers of contractor & thus the power of taking legal action against these workers lies with the contractor. You are to report the matter to the contractor. If the contractor is not giving required results then take action as per the agreement.

hi, do one thing send a written notice to the contractor abt the problem. and you are eligible to take any action against contractor if the still the same problem arise and production hamper. you can even threat to discontinue the contract of contractor if he will not shot out the problem soon........
