1. This is the right time for applying for registration of factory . This is because when you submit your drawings, about factory layout.building elavation, there is some scope from safety angle, the factories Insepctor can guide you. Once the building is ready,and then if they advise to change this wall or that beam, it is difficult and if we don;t do the way they advise, the registation remains pending therby licence cannot be issued and finaly we are not able to start production.
Apart from this, you will have to apply for Consent under Air pollution and Water pollution act To POLLUTION BOARD.
If you have morethan 20 workers/employees, you will have to apply for coverage to PF and ESI Deptt.( Provided your mngt. want to cover employees from day one)
