Hi,
The information given by you is not adequate. Is this Unit II in the same place or in diff. place. What type of factory it is ? how many are in Unit I, First of all why U call your unit as a Factory? this itself has to be clarified.
These clarification would help us to give U better opnion on your query.

Dear Officerhp,
Pl.refer the attachment for some of your queries. Nevertheless it is very important to check for the requirements with the concerned officials designated under the Factories Act of your state and Labour Dept. and satisfy yourself about the requirements before hand rather than repent later. You should develop a habit of possessing and refering as frequently as possible all relevant law books to have very clear idea what you should do and shouldn't. Half knowledge gained from here and there is always not foolproof and is dangerous. Moreover officials in their capacity should always guide you so that you won't land in trouble later. Presumptions and assumptions should be eliminated to avoid complications. We only can provide some suggestions with the back ground of whatever details you provide herein in the forum but I don't think it is sufficient to take you through.
With regards,

No registration required as under the Factories Act minimum threshold is 10 to make it.a factory, but if the second unit is also in the same premises then you will have to go for an amendment to the original license
