Can anyone direct me to any research or give some info on job profiling, especially of the MD/CEO and GM positions. Require infos on what does it take to be successful in those positions, and how to groom talents for the positions.

You have already got a site in the post of Mr. leo Lingham. But you need two additional competencies to go about.
1. You are required to know psychometry thoroughly.
2. No test/ measurement on human behaviour standardised in one population can be applied straight in another population. You will have to develop fresh scoring keys, norms and reliabilities and validities for your population because no test/measurement on human behaviour can be culture free.
