Dear all,
I had employed one person and she has leaked out the monster id and password to one of her friend which she has confessed (written), the person has used the monster and we have a proof of this , although we have asked her to leave, now she is claiming her salary also, she was in the probation period
when she was confronted for the offence, she has left the company abruptly saying she cannot have the courage to face us , but now is walking into the company for the salary
kindly advice

hi ayushib
If have the proof that she has leaked company secrets. Than its a matter of Integrity, with proof. You should have issued termination letter.
Now also you can workout on the basis of your company policy if you have one for the same, you can issue termination letter. and i don't think you need to pay her as she has not done her exit interview formalities.

Hi, This is a serious matter and company should terminate the employee with immediate effect. You can sign NDA with every employee in your organisation. Anurag

Thanks to all for writing back and your suggestions
One thing further is that we had not yet issued her any appointment letter as she was due to submit her documents even after 1 and a half months
so do we have any liabilities towards her and can we demand compensation
thanks

HI Ayushib, If you have mentioned the confidential and non disclosure policy in the appointment letter or employee handbook, take the action mentioned in the same...
