Hi all,
As a corporate trainer, I have observed that there are certain terms used by senior corporate executives which are hard to understand for the juniors / freshers. Some of these words/phrases have a meaning very different from their lateral / dictionary meaning, which confuses the listener during business meetings, townhalls or even casual chats that they have with their seniors.
I have tried to put together the most frequently observed of those terms in the attached document. The list is obviously not exhaustive, and I welcome additions to it.
The terms highlighted in red are those whose meaning in business context is very different from their dictionary meaning.
Hope you find it to be useful.
Cheers,
VA.
