Dear Mr. Khola,
Goodmorning.
As discussed in the morning today, please note that i am working with a private limited company since Dec'11 and I went for Leave in Nov'14 and before going I submitted leave notice to my boss who did not want to accept it and asked me to resign. I did not resign and took leaves. I could not join within 3 months because my C-sec was done on 13/12/14 and I could not recover by Feb'15. So I took permission from my boss and he allowed me to join in March'15.
After joining when I asked for pay against maternity leave of 3 months he denied saying his company doesn't offer such type of benefits.i
He has also refused to pay my balance amount of yearly bonus. When I insisted he is terminating me.
Request you to please advise.
Regards,

Hi Sir,
I read your comment that after getting the assent of the Honerable President of India latest amendment of maternity act will be enforceable.
I am starting my maternity leave from Nov 1 2016.
Do you have any idea there is a hope to get it becomes enforceable by then.
And if this becomes law during my leave period wiLl I still be entitled for new leave.
Thank you

Dear Mr. Khola Thanks for your answer that we need to wait for the assent of the Hon’ble President of India, but any idea how much time they will take in making this enforceable?
