Hi Vijay,
Refers to your query posted...
1. Experience letter is not mendatory, it is on the discretion of Mgt.
2. No, legal obligation involved..
3. Even, if it is necessary, you can write, the persone is terminated/or performance not found satisfactory...
Hope your query been answered.
kind regards,

From India, Delhi

Dear All,
In our organistion we have a common Experience cum Releiving Certificate.
However by going through responses to my post it appears that we have discretion in issuing Experience Certificate but employee has a legal right & entitlement for releiving certificate.
Please let me know if my understanding is correct.

Hi Deepa,
I do agree with you but still we are not here as teachers or lawyers. Whether you like it or not if the person is able to influence his colleagues which we will be knowing at the later point of time then the end result is going to be costly. We always cannot stick to rules. But we have explain these things and document properly with Exit check list so that we don't land up in wasting time for these things latter.
I don't say that we need to be afraid of loosing people but I say that we need to correct ourselves fast and see to that we don't repeat it next time.
I wish to thank you for your time.
Regards
Vijayakumar
