Dear Vishasari,
I can share my experience with you.
Just like u, i have joined a pharmaceuticals industry 5 and half year before, and I was also very much frustrated that I hadn't any work to do. But, after few days works were coming and then after 1 Year, I hadn't a single moment to spare idle at office time.
So, don't worry. Just wait and concentrate your present assigned job and take the additional responsibilities if and when you have.
Just wait ......... and see.
Best of Luck

Thanx.
for kind advice.
But my concern is with old employee who were used to handle these works before might started bifricating work. I am not at all frustruated but only thing that i don't want to waste my time i want to work hard in HR field as everbody should recongnise myself by my work.
I don't feel degraded about work at all. But i am finding that collegues of mine in the office is senior to me in that organisation she used to handle all the work before i joined the org. She had almost handed over most of the work to me. only thing i found that when she is preparing payment by cheques, i requested her to update salary register simultanouly when she distrubutes the cheques. it will be easier to update register. But she rejected said working by saying it's not her work. as it is related to salary. I am cocern about her attitude, whether she is feeling insecure because of my entry in the office. as i have knowedlge with education. and she had complted her graduation recently by distance learning while earning.
I want to clarify each employee what's their task, as all the work is very clustered.
anybody can suggest some departmental heirchy for the staff with JD department wise lke we have, with their job responsibiliity.
ACCOUNTS , MARKETING , HR, PRODUCTION, ADMMNISTATION & FINANCE, TRAINING AND INDCTION HEIARCHY WISE FROM SENIOR LEVEL TO JUNIOR LEVEL.

Hi,
Employee Retention can be done if employee is really worth and productive....
The most easy way is giving hikes/perks performance based to the employee's....training on the motivation....leadership....some events for the stress busting for the employees....
Most important is to read the examine the exit interview very closely and then overcome company flaws......
As in We Do.....Weekly party in office in pantry for employee's...Twice a month picnic for employees....As mine is US Based MNC...before Christmas holidays...a party bash in some disc or farm house..as management decides......yearly performance bonus nearby Diwali....Here our magnet gives us freedom to execute out plans on the project...in case of latesitting..cab is provided.... food expenses is provided....and overtime as well......In case you are working on Sat /Sun(Holidays)...then one compensatory leave....and also if in a month we exceed 16 hrs more then 160 hrs in month the we get one more leave int o our score card......Yearly appraisal with minimum 20% hike....
We have employees who are here from last 3 to 4 yrs...
and still doesn't want to quit....
Hope this resolves your query....
Thanks

For a beginner it is advisable to take the maximum load possible. If the initial demand is for executive class then it can create problem in the future. A real leader is the one who can have the capacity to do any work of his follower. So take all the tasks as a challenge and soon you will be soaring high in the sky.

Dear Shweta,
Thanks for your mail. I gone through the same. I am also working as Executive HR and working at the capacity of Head of the dept having 02 assistants reporting to me. Our organisation do not have any organisational structure. We have a total of around 150 employees on our roll and going to recruit around 300 more people. This is a manufecturing facility. My total experience is around 18 years out of which 15 years were spent in defence sector in personnel & administration dept. This is my first industry which I joined on 01 / 11/ 07. I am 35 now. I am not sure about my position in the staff as to where I stand in hierarchical order. Can you please throw some light on the same. And also when and at what level I can seek further promotion. Like I will be Sr Executive and then AM, Dy Manager and Manager or I will follow some other route due to my past exprience. I am MA (Sociology & History, B.Ed) PG Dip in HR and pursuing MBA (HR) currently. Please share your views.
