The original question was posted in November last year.

There has been no response from the OP as to the outcome of this matter.

It is most probably safe to assume that the world has moved on and this matter is now closed.

Therefore there is little point in continuing to offer advice on this matter to the OP.

when your resignation is accepted from the current employer then it means that relation of employee and employer has been finished between you and your company. so now they don't have the right to involve in future planning. in fact during the job they have right to connect with your job nor for the personal life. So don't share the offer letter with the current company.
in other hand if you have a good relation with your immediate boss , you may show your offer letter but its total depend on your relationship with your boss.
to join and leaving the job is the core decision of any employee.
