You can issue a circular against this with the subject of if anyone seems to be using any of social networking site during the office timings will be punishable with the penalty of Rs.....
And please create a team for to identify all these activities . The staffs should not get the details of that team members. Strictly confidential...or other ways you can simply said that I have created a team here to find out the persons, if you are not getting the accurate person for to create the team. Because of that they will have a fear in their mind.
Hope it will work out.

Mr. Arun
You can use Mobile Tracker. It's useful to disconnect the mobile signals on there phone. It protects from the no call, no message, & no internet facility also.
this is the best idea i thought.

Hi...
I want to suggest all companies who are in trouble due to use of social sites done by employee at work. Company must provide a separate black and white mobile with sim card.Restrict all employee to divert their call to this sim card in case mobile is switched off. When ever employee join shift , company executive must collect employee\'s own mobile and switch of so that incoming call will pick up will work. The part keeping of new B/W may be decide by company.

Current generation of people can't live without facebook and twitter. We can't change their behaviour. Instead focus on measuring their results by setting objective goals. This way they will be forced to focus on work and they can use social networks, when they are free. In my opinion putting in controls will demotivate employees and also doesn't help in achieving business results.

I am agree with your comments, In our case we have provided SIM cards to all our staff members (under corporate CUG plan).
Also, we do not check what is actually downloaded by the user , its matter only how employee can minimise the usage (in terms it will not affect the Wi-if load & hours).

There is a good solution for this as I have already seen some software companies using it. Allowing only mobile phones which does not contain any multimedia, camera, or radio will solve this issue permanently meanwhile keeping a check while entering the work premises with company monogram as VERIFIED on back of the phone.

Private organisations always do R&D and restrict/stop net working in the office. In the name of social net working they do not want their work force to use social net working, irrespective of the fact, whether it is good or not. Mostly it happens in government offices. There must be some way to regulate it. Social media is so temptive that one may sit on the same through out the day. Govt is meant for implementation of their schemes and their programmes. Social net working is personnel and common and hence they can do in their own time. Already some of the staff members spend their time playing skill games. Let us do some good and sincere service what we are intended to. Phones, of course, has become one of the essential item. There can be via media for this.

Dear all,
There is no other way than self discipline to be practiced by the employees.
Mobile usage at their seats can be restricted. May be, they can be allowed to check messages at the common room etc
