According to me, EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT is a terminology lot spoken in the recent past; But, the same was in place ever since the Industrial Revolution Begins.
In the nutshell; it the responsibility of an organization and the supervisor to continuously engage an employee in the work, proving him/her the continuous learning opportunity; thus elevating the standard of the employee in terms of Knowledge, Skills and Competencies.
Now, the word EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT means Outbond Training, Birthday Party, Festival Celebrations, Gifts etc; which are necessary; but the root is very important.

Employee Engagement is moved to Employee Experience now. Few years back the concept of Employee Engagement was much talked about and what and how employee can be engaged was the big people business question, many organizations wanted to find the answer.
Now in the recent years, organizations moved from Employee Engagement Focus to creating wholesome Employee Experience to the talents. It is the recent development of last few years and creating a good employee experience from day in day out innovatively and in novel way is the focus today to retain talents in organizations. Employee Experience includes Employee Engagement.
What is meant by employee experience?
Employee experience is a worker's perceptions about his or her journey through all the touchpoints at a particular company, starting with job candidacy through to the exit from the company.
A great employee experience is the result of people who are able to come together and help each other out, offer support, and collaborate in meaningful, productive ways.
