Dear Sir,
if minimum wages has to be divided by 26 and has to paid to workmen depending on the number of days he worked in the factory. we have declared paid holiday to factory. is this has to be paid to contract workmen.

a declared paid holiday applies to all workers as the factories act does not distinguish between own, contract, permanent or temporary. Neither does Payment of Wages Act.
A paid holiday is considered as day worked (provided it was not on a weekly off)
