Dear sir/s, Aadhaar linking is not mandatory for Bank Accounts. Similar is EPF Account. As per Hon'ble Supreme Court's orders - it should be insisted for those who enjoy monetary benefit from Governments. In such a situation, EPFO must not demand Aadhaar linking to EPF Account. They may insist when a member or his family members opt for monthly pension. They are not ready to show such exemption from the Court. Is is justified as per Court's Orders. Seniors may kindly review and confirm their valuable views on the above issue. It will be highly helpful if clippings are attached.

The verdict is okay but if you want to generate Universal Account Number (UAN), you should have adhar and the name, date of birth (normally the adhar taken some two or three years back will have only year of birth) etc should match with the name given in the PF records. You cannot tell the computer that Supreme Court has said that adhar is not mandatory.
