Income limit of dependent parents for eligibility to medical benefits under ESI Act has been increased from Rs.5,000 p.m. to Rs.9,000 p.m. Copy of notification dated 24.6.2019 in this regard is attached.

Medical Benefit For Dependent Under The Employees State Insurance (Central) Rules,1950 Increased.
Government of India in consultation with Employees' State Insurance Corporation vide notification No.G.S.R. 599(E) had amended Rule 61-A of The Employees' State Insurance (Central) Rules,1950 where income limit of medical benefit for dependent parents has been increased to Rs.9000/-from earlier limit of Rs.5000/-
Gazette notification published is attached.
