To have the benefits of Payment of Bonus Act as amended from 1-4-2014, one should be first covered under the definition of Employee. Meaning his salary should be below Rs. 21,000/-PM. Else Payment of Bonus will be the sole descrition of Management.

No doubt that amendment in bonus has been made to pay minimum 7000/-, but it has been stayed by kerala High Court. May any body make clear that stay of kerala or some other High Court High Court has been vacated or continuing.

Hey Anand, The stay is only applicable for the petitioners and not for everyone! Further, the stay is on backdate payment and not for the date after it has been announced.
