I agree Gurumurthi. It is not just an amendment which is required but we need effective implementation of these laws. I should say that Kerala should be the sole state where where you can see effective implementation of labour laws. Still there are employees who say that they are not given whatever they deserve as per law. That means in Kerala also the implementation is just 80%. The other side of the situation is the reaction of investors, that for them Kerala is the least interested place because for them Kerala owns the credit of more hartals and strikes and Kerala is a place where there are a lot of trade unions . But they will never that we need a place where we can do our business with a free hire and fire policy, where we need not pay even the wages calculated as per the old Economic theory of wages, viz, Subsistence Theory of wages, where we need not any thing else like, Bonus, PF, ESI and nothing!! But in reality the companies who have gained profits are those who have recognised the importance of these labour laws and applied the industrial relations theories in practice.

Hi, everybody today some managements are only giving the minimum wage to the contract labours even the regular workers also. But the case of middle management like officers and above but below agm level they don't bother about their salary. The qualifications, experience and job responsibility have no value for them. Even though they make happy to only the top boss by revising their salary time to time and giving all the facilities. In odisha joda-barbil-keonjhar area due to closure of mines the managements are exploiting the middle management, the salary of the middle management is 10-15 times less then the top management with no facility what the top bosses are getting. Why the govt. Should not take any action or may make a amendment on the salary system in private sector industry or mines belt area. The govt. May implement some minimum maximum salary of all category from labour-peon to top boss in a proportionate way so that the difference is become minimal. Facilities also given to the lower to top boss in responsibility or designation wise and make all the payment online. Why there is a difference in private sector employees and govt. Employees.
