This is very common in any company that hiring construction labour on daily wages and no one comply with PF remittances for those labour and labour also do not want such kind of deductions because they are uneducated. We can maintain minimum wages (per day wage) while releasing their wages and there is another law "Building and Other Constructions Act" through which we should remit 1% of Cess in advance based on the project and its value. Through this the labour department will provide insurance coverage to the constructions labour. Pls enquire about this Act and do the needful.

If PF has to pay for an daily wages labour which may come or not come on daily basis, so the PF account need to open in that labour name and pay PF 25.x% for the number of days come for work or for entire month 30 days?
