Dear Reema, please throw some light on how to proceed for competency mapping.
My company has about 100 employees (70-sales, Sales Head, Commercial Head, Accounts Head, MD, and other staff of 30)
How to conduct competency mapping for sales, commercial and accounts team, as these are most crucial team.
What can be the procedure and questionnaires to use.
If you have some questionnaire formats on survey, please send it.

Some of the good books on competency are: Competent Manager by Boyatzis (historically the first such book) read an article by David Macellend called Measuring Competency not intelligence and a later book by Spencer and Spencer called Competency at Work

I have this e-book on Competency Management that I downloaded from the CiteHR forum only. It is a good book and I learnt quite a few things from it.
