It is best to think the other aspects affects if the salary paid lately. The ESI and PF contributions are to me made before 21st and 15th respectively. It is difficult to the management for providing funds and preparation of salary,pf,esi payments within short span.

Dear Friend,
It is true, we need to follow statutory provisions. Labour dept. normally acts when there is a complaint. You may discuss with your union and come to an understanding in writing and submit the same to labour dept. Since your requirement is for a short time, you may look at this option, if union cooperates. But do not delay esi, pf etc.
