If you reach in time or little in advance then the interviewer feels that you really need job & you have to face tough interview. If you reach late, the interviewer assumes that you are very basy, talented person & you deserve the job.

Dear Ravi,
these are generally the passive job seekers who attends the interview for the sake of attending without any preparation and planning. it does not happens with active and serious job seekers..
one thing more that is noted that for a single vacancy HR lines up more than required candidates and then they run short of time to interview everybody properly.. it leaves a bad impression of the company and candidate who have come up with preparation too get frustrated..such mismanagement of interview process is seen very commonly in companies....
Recruitment process has to be taken seriously by the HR and call only those candidates who are through with the telephonic round of interview to save the time on both sides..
Hr can also take a 1 min follow up with the coming candidates and confirm them their timming of interview..it will surely help in reducing the late coming..

well some time an HR can make out the genuineness of explanation..if the candidate is informing the HR well in advance regarding his late, then also genuineness can be confirmed.. Reena vashisht
