IT companies have varied information requirement, Education Credentials, Criminal and civil records are porperly checked. They are not much concern with the lower previous employment. In managerial level they do background checking before second interview. Now they are working hard to get the certificate attested too. Different companies have different requirement. I have done employemnt screening since last 18 years. I have my own concern as Parakletos Worldwide intelligence Network. New Delhi.

Hi,
Even if the first employed company is closed, below mentioned options could be considered
--- concerned employee could get the contact of an authorised signatory preferably the person who has signed in the releiving / experience letters
--- Employer could verify the documents like appointment letters, first salary and last three salary slips to validate the information given by employee.
--- During the BG check third party / the employer will get to know whether the mentioned organisation was existing in the mentioned location / not.
--- When an organisation and its whereabouts are not tracable, as he could not be blamed for that.

Hi,
Suppose, a person working for company A, wants to leave the company. He applies to company B. How does company B go about doing the reference check?
If the person mentions his immediate boss as the reference, then if B calls him/her up to check about the candidate. Would it not let the boss in A to know that the candidate is planning to leave the company.
How do B go about having a reference chenk in this case?
If the candidate gives the reference of his/her friends/coleagues, then they would say only good things about the candidate. Then what is the use/validity of conducting the check?
Who then ideally should be given as reference?
Cheers

I have worked in companies like Comp-A, Comp-B, Comp-C and now wants to join Comp-D. But the thing is here is that I have worked in Comp-C for 2-3 months only. So for Comp-D I want to hide employment of 2-3 months in C for some +ve reason but in other 2 companies I have worked for 4+ years. Can anyone please tell me if there would be any issue if I hide employment of 2-3 months in C. Would it create any problem in Background Check? Would they come to know in the background check if I worked in Company-C for 2-3 months only ?
