Dear Learned Friends,
I did read a book on "Human Sigma". The book said that during the days of development of "SIGMA" concept the element of "Human" was not considered as because "Sentimentally" each HUMAN BEING differ from others. I feel, this is important in handling HR since production is sure linked with "Sentimental Support" provided to men involved in all sorts of Production Process.
It is, thus, obvious that Human factor should not be considered as Resources but Asset that is the Brain, Heart and Lifeblood of any Production Process. Rough Handling of this Asset (or whatever my Learned Friends here may call it) may lead to undesired results of which neither the Promoters not other Stakeholders would be very interested.
I therefore would prefer to expand HR as Human Relation to assign right Gravity to it.

Dear Saumitra Sengupta,
No doubt productivity of any organisation depends upon the human relations, but in the absence of "human resources" there cannot be the element of "human relations". So, relations is secondary issue in the human resources, where existence of human resources cannot be said good bye. However, as per various researches the human resources can be considered as human capital, where you can assign right gravity to provide sentimental support to the employees.

Dear Mr. PS Dhingra, All that I mean is Human are too precious to be considered as Resources. Truly, it should either be termed as "Human Capital" or "Human Asset". Regards,
